Ma'rifah is a strong effort to acquaint the average Muslim with resources translated from Islam's rich tradition and the works of its scholars. The site allows the reader to make his/her own decision as to what truly represents orthodox and traditional views on doctrine, law/practice, etc. by allowing one to reference the words of Muslim scholars deeply rooted in knowledge and esteemed highly throughout our history. It also acquaints one with a selection of names to choose from in making that determination as opposed to just a few historical personalities that some factions use to make the final determiners of what is truth or falsehood.
