Sacred Knowledge presents:
"Our Master Muhammad" (sall'Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
A monthy class taught by Ustadh Mohamed Hassani covering the book "Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasulallah" by Shaykh 'Abdullah Sirajuddin al-Husayni (may Allah have mercy on him).
"Sayyiduna Muhammad Rasulallah" is a unique and famous book which depicts the noble qualities and characteristics of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through delving into the depths of the Qur'an, hadiths and statements of our pious predecessors. It was written by the late scholar of Aleppo, Syria, Shaykh 'Abdullah Sirajuddin, who passed away in 2002. He was a Hafiz, a leading scholar of hadith and an interpreter of the Qur'an.
Ustadh Mohamed Hassani is a student of knowledge originally from Algeria. His first teachers were his mother and father. He later studied theology, islamic law and arabic grammar under the guidance of Shaykh Shaaban. Since then, he has continued his studies in hadith, tasawwuf and other islamic sciences in the UK and Syria with various scholars, including Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi and Shaykh Abul Huda al-Husayni, and has authorised licenses to teach (ijaza) from them. Many of his teachers were students of the author of this blessed book, Shaykh 'Abdullah Sirajuddin.
Time:
This class will run on the last Thursday of every month insha'Allah, starting on 29th October 2009. The first class will commence after 'Isha prayers at approximately 8pm.
Venue:
Reading Islamic Centre, 50/52 South Street, Reading RG1 4QU
All are welcome | Free Admission | Segregated seating for ladies.
"It is incumbent upon every intelligent, responsible person to become acquainted with the attributes of this great and noble Prophet (peace and blessings upon him), in order that they may follow the light of his example, and take the perfection of his characteristics as a model for themselves.
If it is the nature of intellectuals to seek knowledge of the world's great and worthies, then it is more fitting that they should aspire to become acquainted with the Master of Masters (peace and blessings upon him), the pride of all creation, he whom Allah (Most High) raised to the highest status, and promoted above all other ranks"
- Shaykh 'Abdullah Sirajuddin
