WHO IS CEMALEDDIN HOCAOGLU (KAPLAN)

Cemaleddin Hocaoglu is one of the population of Anatolia, born as the son of Resid and Hatice.

Birth date and place of birth:

He was born in the community of Dangis (now Gündogdu) in the area of Ispir in the province Erzurum. His year of Birth is 1926 in the Christian era, in Julian chronology it is 1342, and in Islamic chronology it is 1347.

a) His education:

Cemaleddin Hocaoglu received his education mainly from his father, in the following manner: Recitals of the Koran by memory, Islamic sciences like morphology, syntax, logic, as well as semantics, stylistics, methods of the Islamic law, methods of commentating the Koran, methods of the delivery of the Prophet, and the method of persuasion of believ and the corresponding sciences like: the Islamic law, interpretation of the Koran, delivery of the Prophet and the word of Allah (the Koran).

Furthermore he participated in the town of Erzurum in courses of instruction such as Molla Cami (summary of important Islamic sciences), logistics, Meani-summary (a different summary of important Islamic sciences), and the methods of the Islamic law, who were held by the Mufti Sadik Efendi in Erzurum.

B) His education in Elementary, Middle, and High school:

After having served in the military, he completed Elementary, Middle, and High school in a matter of three years. He took the corresponding examinations externally at the High school of Erzurum, after which he was presented with a diploma at this school.

c) His academic career:

He only reached his 36th year. After completing the above mentioned schools, he enrolled in the theological University of Ankara in order to study there. At about 40 years of age he completed his studies there.

d) Official and honorary activities:

Prayer reciter, preacher, inspector, leader of the Personal Bureau of Religious Affairs, Vize President of the Latter Institution, Mufti in Adana, member of the Association for Turkish Religion Representatives, President of the Committee of Judicial Verdicts, President of the Society of Islamic Communities in Europe, President of the Federal Islamic State in Anatolia, and finally President of the Caliphate State, Emir of the Muslims and Caliph of the muslim people.

Some of these offices he filled for a long time, others for a short while. Duties like that of inspector lasted 6 months at the most, that of preacher lasted 11 years, he occupied the office of Mufti for 15 years. The presidency of the Society of Islamic Communities he filled for 10 years. At this time he fills the office of Caliph.

We wish him good health and a long life and we pray to Allah for helping him to do good deeds much longer.

Time of lessons:

a) During the time of prayer reciter in his community:

In the cause of the seven years of office as reciter of prayers in the community of Kong (now: Altintepe) in Erzurum he gave classes on the Koran, the art of Koran recital, and Arabic to hundreds of pupils.

B) During his time of prayer reciter in Erzurum he taught the Islamic sciences and the methods of the Islamic law to pupils from all area of the town in the Medrese of the Tahtali Mosque. Further he taught Arabic, commentary, and the Islamic law at the school in Erzurum.

c) During his profession in Ankara:

Those who voluntarily attended classes from the school of prayer reciters he taught subjects like methods.

d) During his office as Mufti in Adana:

Besides teaching Arabic and similar sciences at the school of prayer reciters in Adana, he also taught religion in Middle and High schools near Adana.

Courses of Koran Instruction:

When Hodja Efendi arrived in Adana there were hardly any courses of Koran Instruction, although the city consisted of 57 districts. By means of his efforts the number of courses of Koran Instruction incresed to 33 in the town of Adana in a timespan of about 15 years.

e) A new method of learning:

As our master was aware of that his work in Anatolia concerning the Arab language studies and the study of Islam and the courses of Koran instruction led by Süleymanis and Nursis were not sufficient, he applied a new method of learning: He found such students, who have already paricipated in courses of Koran Instruction, who were intelligent and trusted by their teachers, and brought them to Adana. He then prepared a seven year programm and stated a new course of instruction. During the cause of this programm the pupils were to study the 12 necessary sciences, along with graduating from the school of prayer recital.

This course of Instruction was met with great interest and the number of participants were well over 400. This Islamic school (Medrese), which had produced first graduates, was just about to prepare for the next graduates, when the former minister for foreign affairs Tayyar Altikulac sent the master, who was just 55 years old, into retirement. The new Mufti, who was put in his place, said: "The pupils of the Kaplan were all brain-washed, because the wear wide pants and a turban!"

He refused to take care of them, so that they all separated.

Efforts to bring them to Europe:

Our master, who was worried about the problems of the students, wherever they may be, decided to bring them to Europe, in order to continue their studies.

But an obstacle came about: The Visa! Part of the students, who were on their way to Europe without a passport, were sent back and out of Europe.

Opening of an Islamic school (Medrese):

Although our master opened an Islamic school in the middle of Cologne, this school had to face a lot of problems:

This school received great interest from the muslim people, so that the number of female and male pupils was more than hundreds. But unfortunatly, under pressure from the kemalist press, the european press also got involved and made wrong comments on TV and even asserted that "Kaplan educated with weapons in this school!". They thus forced the european press to write the following:

"Should the Medrese not be closed, Germany would go back to the times of Hitler!"

Also the interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia was influenced and said:

"Kaplan is not a danger for Turkey, but for the whole world, for world peace! Hence we follow his every step!"

Police raid in the Medrese:

Finally one night hundreds of policemen closed up the Medrese and chased hundreds of pupils out of the building. Then they sealed off the doors of the school.

Proclamation by means of video tapes and education and training:

Since neither in Anatolia, nor in Europe there exists the possibility of realising an Islamic education in an official or unofficial way, our master found it necessary to go another way: To educate by means of Audio- and Video- cassettes. He introduced the method, that concerning the sciences the houses will be a school and the houses of prayer will be Islamic universities. Still there were some people who could not grasp the importance of these matters. For this reason the speeches, which were held from time to time and the recommendations in light of these matters were limited. But this year finally a decision was made to increase the troubles concerning this matter of education, so that there might be a plan of education in every family. In this sense three consecutive conferences took place: The conference of young brides and girls old enough to marry, the conference of the regional youth leaders and finally that of the general counsel. During these conferences, which were attended and led by our master, these themes were the main concern:

1- Mobilisation concerning the rejection of Polytheism.

2- Mobilisation for the learning of the Koran sciences.

3- Mobilisation with the purpose to learn Koranic letters.

4- Mobilisation concerning the delivery of Koranic sciences, where young ladies and youth leaders were commissioned to watch over these trials.

Our master received an oath of allegiance from the above mentioned youth leaders. Since each attempt to learn the sciences is a fight for the Belief! For this our master received a special kind of oath.

Each Muslim is a Soldier:

At this meeting our Hodja emphasised again that each muslim, man or woman, old or young, is a Soldier and thus all houses are headquarters and all mosques are army barracks. Our master also didn’t neglect to send a study curriculum to the regional youth leaders. This programme looks as follows:

a) The number and addresses of members of all possible families shall be written down.

B) It shall be found out if the families concerned own video machines and televisions.

c) The youth leaders will try to find out if these families have tapes of the above mentioned study programme or not.

d) The commissioned will aid the education by inviting the families to the mosques once a month and by having the men controlled by the youth leaders and the woman by the girls.

This way the public education will, with the blessing of Allah, be successful. This movement, which contributes to the advancements of the future, will go down in history.

The work of our master:

a) Our master has produced many works, both in writing and in speeches. A part of these works were written down and were published in forms of books, brochures and newspaper articles. Some were even translated into German, Arabic, English, Bosnian, Albanian, Russian, and other languages and are still being translated.

Now the remaining works are being translated into other languages. The following is a list of works which are partly translated, published, and are still being translated:

1- The Belief,

2- Islam,

3- The Islamic Constitution,

4- The Life of our Prophet,

5- The Woman in Islam and Her Special Role,

6- The Main Rules of Islam,

7- The Rules About Paintings and Statues in Islam,

8- The Relationship Between Worker and Employer,

9- The Rules About Beard and Clothes in Islam,

10- The Founding of Islamic Clubs and Communities...,

11- The Booklet of the Proclaimer,

12- The Delivery and its Method,

13- The Informations,

14- The Open Letters in Form of Proclamations,

20- The Schools of Law (German translation is being printed),

21- The Counsel,

22- Suffism and Cheap Heroes,

23- The Islamic Teaching of the Belief,

24- The Possibilities and Efforts,

25- The Judicial Verdicts (Fetwa)...

B) There is a great number of video- and audio cassettes. These were listed at the end of the booklets 1- and 2. of "Evidence".

c) His preachings and speeches:

Our master travelled through almost all of Anatolia until the Aegean or he was invited everywhere. Everywhere he visited he held speeches in the form of prayer or lecture.

Among others:

When returning from the military he commented upon the Koran in the community of Hascevenk, where his father was prayer reciter. In the communities he was preacher and prayer reciter; he continued his speeches from the rostrum. For example in all the important mosques like Tash mosque, Karaköse mosque, Gümrük mosque, Cennetzade mosque, except for the Tahtali mosque were he was prayer reciter. Also he preached in the mosques of Ankara, like Haci Bayram, Maltepe, Zincirli, Ibadullah, Cebeci. After his shift to Adana he held speeches and preached in many cities and communities. Especially in the central Yagh mosque in Adana he continued his commentary on the Koran. After his arrival in Europe he continued his commentary and finally finished it in one of the biggest mosques in Cologne, Germany, in the Ulu mosque in the year 1994 according to the Christian calendar and during the 27th night of the Ramadan Month (Leyle-i Kadr) of the year 1414 according to the Islamic calendar. There the Caliphate was proclaimed and revived and during this holy night the prayer of Completion was said.

A night of great blessing:

Our master explained the circumstance as follows:

1- The place of the blessing:

Ulu mosque in Cologne, a true house of God.

2- The blessing of the month:

The month of Ramadan.

3- The blessing of the night:

The holy night during the month of Ramadan, Leyle-i Kadr.

4- The blessing of the religious community:

A large community, consisting of the members, which come out of all of the corners of Europe and who filled the Ulu mosque until it nearly burst.

5- The blessing of the prayer of Completion:

The prayer of Completion of the Koran commentary, which had taken around 50 years until completion.

6- A different blessing, which added another blessing to the above mentioned ones:

That blessing, which the revival and the proclamation brought to the Sunna, which had been abolished for 70 years by Kemal of Saloniki (Atatürk) and which was thrown bound into the corner, and it was forbidden to talk about it, the revival of the Caliphate State!

The Thanksgiving Prayer:

Besides giving us the above mentioned six prayers he also let us proclaim the revival of the Caliphate and the Caliph to the whole world. We cannot thank our Lord enough for this!

We pray and beg our Lord, that he will keep up this institution until Doomsday.

Wealth:

Our master did not receive one Penny for his preaching, or for the books he published, nor for the cassettes that he spoke on. The whole fortune, which he received partly from his fathers inheritance, partly from own work, was confiscated by the Kemalist regime.

Thus our master owns neither houses and grounds nor country homes, like the other party leaders were used to. How about him? He doesn’t even own one cent of this earthly existence.

Federalistic State:

One of our masters’ main goals is to unite the Islamic world:

To become one state through the Caliphate State. Although there are also other methods to come to this, our master has choosen the "Federate Islamic State". (More information about this in the booklet "Returning the Right to the Claimer").

Concerning this he wrote to the states and organisations, which deny polytheism and say yes to Momotheism. In the letters he wrote to them he explained that with their help he wanted to revive and proclaim the Caliphate State. After not receiving an answer, he thus proclaimed the state.

Some contradictions like "You are the third Caliph!" which was published in the newspaper "Misak=Pakt" he answered as follows:

"Did you pledge an oath to the first of these Caliphs? Let us know their names and addresses, so that we can pledge out oath to the first Caliph!"

Until today no one has answered. But it is not too late. If you have evidence for this we ask the world press, besides " Misak=Pakt" and "Hilafet=Caliphate", to write and inform about this. Either say the truth or keep quiet!

His struggle:

We could say that the whole life of our master consisted of a fight and that he was never willing to make compromises.

His attempts in the institute of religious affairs:

For some time the judge Tevfik Gerceker, who was in pension from the high court, was the head of the institution for religious affairs. On one hand he introduced restrictions concerning the prayers of his employees, and on the other hand he decided, that playing soccer was some sort of honouring of God. Meanwhile a retired general was made President of this institution. This general Sadrettin Evren, and the Mufti of Ankara of those times, Dr. Lüfti Dogan, got together in order to produce a circular letter.

The circular letter in question had the following contents:

"In the future the preachers shall write down their prayers in three copies. One copy is for themselves, a second one they shall sent to the institution of the Muftis, who they are subject to, in order to certify it, and the last copy will be sent to the institution of religious affairs. The copy, which was certified by the Mufti, they shall read like a parrot in the mosque. Apart from this copy they were not allowed to add anything. Our master, who received this message tried to form a initiative group of 15 people, which consisted of preachers from the city of Ankara and his study colleagues from the theological faculty and told them about the seriousness of the situation. After a few conferences one came to the following conclusion in two steps: One delegation was to go to Dr. Lüfti Dogan and try to explain to him that such behaviour would be a big blow to the institution of preaching and to suggest to him to abandon this intention. If he was to reject this proposal the matter would be discussed with the communities on a Friday in the mosque. The proposal was rejected and the decision was carried out. Following this the matter was made public in the mosques. At this time our master preached in the mosque of Maltepe. On this Friday he read the prayer according to the new regulations, as if he were reading from a newspaper and jumped off the desk. The community, who had understood none of the prayer, came to the master to ask him what kind of prayer that was supposed to be. Our master replied as follows: "In the future you will only hear such preaching. We cannot explain it!" The community was at a loss. One of them stood up and called loudly to the others:

"They had best closed this mosque, so that both we and them will have our peace!" Back then the peoples party was in power. After saying the Friday prayers the community marched to the institution of religious affairs. There was a great uproar at the doors of the institution, that the doors had to be locked. They were forced to say, that the "whole matter must have been a misunderstanding!", thus apologising in a way. Thus at the night of the same day, on which they had prepared the circular letter, they withdrew it again. We would like to make a note: See here! A union of 15 people and their determination not to make compromises prevented a great danger. If the preachers of yesterday had agreed, the famous Kemal of Saloniki could have never found what he wanted and place 98 bombs onto the foundation of this great religion.

His efforts against the state minister Rafet Sezgin:

During his office as vice president of the institution for religious affairs our master never make compromises, although the state minister of that time forced him to do so. He received the following answer:

"If you have written complaints about the religious commissioners, whose transfer you requested, let them come to us! After our investigations and inquiries we will see to the resolution of the matter!"

The state minister tried to intimidate us by saying:

"Our word is an order, which shall be followed!"

Our master replied:

"Verbal orders have no business in our documents: I shall never serve this cause!"

These and similar situations where our master refused to make compromises strained the relationship between the latter and the minister. Following this our Master was transferred to Adana as Mufti.

Our Master and the Public Prosecution and Courts:

Our master talked about the necessity for Islam and the Islamic law to be in power in the mosque of Ankara, Adana, Hatay and similar cities as well as in conference rooms. Especially his studies at University were very strenuous.

Thus the administration of the University started discip vlinary actions against him due to six charges. But our master gave such clear and sure scientific answers to both the prosecutor as well as the court, that they could not convict him.

The Crown Court of Adana:

In speeches, which our master held in the Yagh mosque of Adana, and which had been taped, proves of guilt were found. These tapes were sent to the jury court of Adana and an accusation was made. At this moment our Hodja had come to Europe. Although he had been urged several times via radio and press to return for trial, our Hodja did not do so after having discussed the matter with his colleagues. In the end his property was confiscated and he was expatriated.

Now before European Courts:

Our master did not pause after coming to Europe, but took the chance to expose Kemal of Saloniki and to proclaim the Islamic law and to preach it.

He further preached, held speeches and published brochures, books and recorded cassettes. Then our master was summoned before European courts, firstly due to the pressure of the kemalist regime and secondly due to the fuss caused by the Turkish and European press. At the moment there are many criminal procedures against him.

His persistent struggle with the followers of the party:

At the time our Hodja went to Europe Kenan Evren (Ex-President of Turkey) forbade all parties! During that time it was possible for us to talk in peace and the audience was also content. There was a time where the press wrote that parties would again be allowed. We were not allowed to collaborate with the party anymore. But our Hodja found a solution: He assumed, that he should prepare a report about the fact that in Islam parties were forbidden and that no Fetwa (judicial grant) could be attained for it.

Thus he wrote a report titled "How does one become an Islamic state, by delivery, method, or by party?" and sent it to Erbakan. But this proposal was refused. Our master, who did not receive an answer from Erbakan mentioned the matter before the community. An assembly was called for in the Barbarossa mosque in Cologne, which consisted of muslims from all over Europe. By election our master was chosen to be chairman of the Islamic movement. Erbakan, who was informed of this, spoke with insulting words and said:

"If I had been there, I would have thrown stones at them!"

The Irresolute one:

Strict orders from Ankara and the lies of the authorities made the irresolute ones turn back. But, thank God another, strong monotheistic religious community formed behind our master , after the former community had been relieved of its unstable members. This new community raises its voice everywhere and increases its numbers from day to day.

A short summary and conclusion:

Now everybody knows where our Hodja came from. He was the son of a Hodja. His family name he received from his father. The surname (Kaplan= Tiger) was changed as it was a bad idol influenced by M. Kemal. He knows the whole contents of the Koran by heart. He has studied the 12 main sciences of Islam and he became teacher of these sciences in the Medrese (Islamic high school). Meanwhile he completed his studies at university. Our Master, who is competent to give Fetwas, has moral courage concerning the heading of a state, or similar fields. He never made compromises during all of his life and he never put up portraits of Kemal Atatürk of Saloniki in his home or place of work. He also didn’t honour the grave of the latter.

He sees the governments of this world in two groups. The system on justice and that of injustice. He proclaimed to all people that the Islamic law is a law of justice and that the other systems are unjust. He calls the communist and the democratic systems as two idols which spoil the world. The party system leans on democracy and the parties may not be renunciated in democracy. Due to this he rejects democracy and he emphasises that the commissioners who were elected to Parliament according to this system and those who elected them are idolaters. Also those who do not accept this sentence will be considered idolaters.

Further he explained that the idols of today are the systems and he left sufficient space for this in the five books of evidence.

Our Hodja proved his courage in writing the truth about Islam. He was also modest to correct a statement or to take a wrong statement back.

The End:

There’s our Hodja and the office of Caliph! It suits him well! He is worthy of this office. His type is rare in this world. No one has the right to say any different. If the contrary is said, please do so! This commentary is a blessing of Allah! We cannot thank him enough for this!

The rest lies with the Lord of the world, who we tank very much. El-Fatiha!..

Assalamu alaikum

What does it mean to be the head of the Caliphate state? Is that an organization, or did he claim to be a Khalifah of the Ummah?

Also, do you have any further sources of reading?

Jazakallah khairun.

Aselamualaykum dear brothers and sisters.

WHO IS MUHAMMED METIN MÜFTÜOGLU (KAPLAN)? Video on the procomaltion of the Caliphate again.

Muhammed Metin Müftüoglu was born in Anatolia as the son of Cemaleddin and Fatima.

Birth date and place of birth:

He was born in the district af Kong (now Altintepe) in the province of Erzurum on a Saturday after the completion of the afternoon prayer. His date of birth is the 14th of November 1952 in the Christian era, in Julian chronology it is 1368, and in Islamic chronology it is 1373.

His education:

Muhammad Metin Müftüoglu moved from the community of Kong to Erzurum with his family when he was 5 years old. During his fathers occupation as preacher and prayer reciter in the Tahtali Mosque in Gavurbogan, he received his Koranic education personally from his father. Within a short time he was able to fully recite the Koran. He also continued his education in the Koranic sciences with another preacher of the Sas Mosque, who lived in the same city district. He also profited from the knowledge and blessing of his blessed grandfather Resid Hodja Efendi during his life in Erzurum.

Elementary school:

He entered the Palandöken Elementary School in the same district at the age of six. His father who had completed Elementary, Middle, and High school in a matter of three years by taking the corresponding examinations externally moved to Ankara, in order to enrol at the theological faculty there and tool his son Muhammed Metin Müftüoglu along with him. There he visited the third grade of Mithatpasa Elementary School in the Topralik district of Ankara. Our blessed Caliph was both High Preacher in Ankara and he also studied at the theological faculty.

After one year he graduated from the Elementary School Ayranci in the Yukari Ayranci District by completing both fourth and fifth grade simultaneously. Meanwhile, during a military revolt, our blessed Caliph made a pilgrimage accompanied by his father and his acquaintances of the community. What a coincidence was it that on the day ot their return from the said pilgrimage an uprising was staged.

As a result of the revolt the pilgrims, who were waiting at the airport, could only return home in the afternoon. Thus our master was an involuntary witness of the said uprising.

During his study at the theological faculty our blessed Caliph tried to master his plans for the putsch of the Turkish republic and for the introduction of an Islamic state in its place. This was done at meetings held every night in the house of a friend.

Our present Caliph never stayed away from these meetings and never left his fathers side. These meetings were made up of fellow students at university and of colleagues at work. It is also worth mentioning that at one of these meetings his colleagues and fellow students of the Institution of religious matters were present. During this meeting a historical resolution was passed: When Talat Aydemir was trying to plan the preparations for an uprising, our blessed Caliph wanted to translate the plan into action and to boycot Talat Aydemir. He held the following speech: "Let us choose a leader who is able to translate his knowledge into action, who masters twelve sciences and who is pious, courageous, and brave as well as strickt in the religious view." All the members of the meeting called in unison: "Oh brother Cemaleddin! No one but you may lead us! Of course you will be our leader!" They unanimously voted our master as their chief. During the days when signs of a state uprising became noticeable, our blessed Caliph called a meeting on a Friday evening. Every member was to inform his friends and acquaintances that they were to meet where today stands the Kocatepe Mosque, and to form a front there.

At the time when our blessed Caliph completed his studies at the theological faculty; our present master, Emir of the Believers and Caliph of the Muslims, Muhammed Metin Müftüoglu, completed Elementary School. Only one year after his registration he visited the school of preachers in the district of Cin Cin near Anafartalar.

In the year 1966 he followed our blessed Caliph, who, as Mufti, had to move to Adana, and there visited the second grade of the Preacher School of that town. During his studies in Adana he completed those twelve sciences of the Islamic university, while receiving private tuition in the Arabic science and the Islamic legal system.

During his time in the preacher school in Adana and Ankara he was persecuted several times by the Department of political offences due to his propagation of the Islamic legal system.

In 1973 he graduated from the preacher school in Adana. In June 1976, after finishing his military service, he returned to Adana. During the same year he successfully sat for his preacher Exams and then took on his office in Yesilmescid as preacher and prayer reciter. Meanwhile he married the daughter of the prominent orthodontist Abdulkadir Efendi, who was then employed as a teacher in the Koranic school of Namik Kemal.

Later he successfully took the Exam for teachers in Koranic Schools at the department for religious affairs. He was then employed in the Koranic School of Tepebag. Together with his father he started the course of Arabic according to the method of the Islamic University in the Yag Mosque. With the help of two teachers this course continues in the Yag Mosque. In the course of seven years the students were to learn the religious sciences on one hand and on the other hand the possibility of graduating from the Preacher School by taking external Exams.

The students of this course stayed in the Office building of the Mufti. This building consisted of four floors. The ground floor served as Conference Hall and as a place for weddings, which could be carried out here according to the Islamic law. The first floor was the office of the Mufti and his library. The second floor was used as sleeping quarters on the third and last floor one did sports. In the Yag Mosque classes were also held. During his time here our master Muhammed Metin took his entrance examinations for University here in 1978 and was then enrolled in the Islamic Institute of Konya.

Here he could only study for a month, as he had to leave Konya and return to Adana according to the orders of the blessed Caliph.

During his teachings at the Islamic University he enrolled himself at the pedagogical University in Adana in order to study Mathematics. He only visited this institution for a short while, when discordances between left and right extremists started. The anarchist incidents doubled from day to day. The situation was such that instead of having classes fighting was going on. Thus he had to end his studies here. Our Caliph neither participated in left, nor in right wing incidents.

Both parties came and left in groups, of course under the supervision of the police. Soon the anarchy became so powerful, that shootings and killings started. Finally such a situation arose, where the army was able to take the government under their control.

They forbade all political parties and locked away political leaders such as Ecevit, Türkes, and their likes. Our master Metin and the blessed Caliph awaited the moment when their school would be closed. Many people came to see the latter. They couldn’t find anything negative and didn’t do anything. Something happened which our blessed Caliph would never forget: A Security Inspector, who was heading a raid on the school said: Soon Allah would let stones fall on our heads since the accused is only a Koranic schooll. He left the school right away. Our present Caliph tried to keep the school going by passing many obstacles with the help of our blessed Caliph. But things went as far as by written order they were to be made hang up the picture of the idol M. Kemal in the office of the Mufti. The blessed father of our Caliph put this letter away and let it rest a while. He held at hand a book about the Islamic legal system and another on the Tradition of Allah‘s messenger, in order to be prepared to give reason for refusing to follow the order to put up the picture: "You order to hang up this picture! But these books forbid the hanging up of such. Also no angels rest where a picture hangs!" Unfortunately Tayyar Efendi, Chief of the department of religious Affairs, came and wanted to scare us with his question: "Why did you not hang the picture of M. Kemal?" Our blessed Caliph replied to him in a brusque manner: "My Lord, the books do not allow such a thingl How could we then put up such a picture?" Tayyar mockingly replied: "Really? In other Islamic countries pictures are hung, for example in the Iraq, in Syria and in Egypt..." Thus our blessed Caliph replied as follows: "We must not make them our model!"

This incident was the reason why the Turkish military regime dismissed our blessed Caliph early. The new Mufti closed the Islamic University, reasoning that the students had been brainwashed and wore wide pants and turban. The truth is that we only found out later that this had already been planned by Tayyar earlier, when he had been in Iskenderun, celebrating the freeing of the latter.

When he was on his way in a helicopter, he decided to force our blessed Caliph to resign at the age ot 55.

These events led to our present Caliph up keeping future activities with his father. Our blessed Caliph left for Germany five to six months later. His reason for this journey was to bring his students to Europe in order to continue there. The need for a visa was an unexpected hindrance, a big disappointment for him. After the closure of the Islamic University, the teachers had been sent to different places. Meanwhile our Caliph was employed at the Koranic School of Tepebag. Here he stayed teacher for a year. In the summer of 1982 our master was not able to stay here. All offices and Muftis were to sign a document declaring the full submission to Atatürk. Of course our Master Metin could not do this. He refused to sign, left the Koranic School and left for Germany in order to assist his fathers activities. As soon as he arrived he was given the office of preacher in the Mosque of Esslingen. Later still he was to fill the same office in Cologne in the Barbaros Mosque. He strongly criticised the kemalist regime on the pulpit as well as in his writings in the Organ Hicret (Emigration), Teblig (Proclamation) and Ümmet (Religious Community). He also proclaimed about the Islamic state and the Islamic administration to the muslim people. Those people in high offices at Milli Görüs were ordered from Ankara to try to prevent these activities. But our master ignored them and didn’t let himself be averted from his goal. He personally participated in the Barbaros Movement on the 13th of August 1983 ( 3 Zilkalde 1403). It had started with writings containing the following question "Will a state be achieved by proclamation or by means of a party?". The Barbaros Movement signifies the giving up of the party method and the taking up ot the method of the Prophet. The Barbaros Movement was a scientific movement and a revolution without arms.

During his occupation in the Barbaros Mosque as preacher our Caliph has entered history by laying the foundation stone of this movement. Our blessed Caliph was elected leader of the community by the meeting of the counsellors in the Barbaros Mosque.

The activities concerning the proclamation became more intensified and our Caliph was able to continue his office of private secretary with our master Cemaleddin. During his whole life he never left the side of our blessed Caliph. He resigned his oftice at the Barbaros Mosque and was appointed to the movement. In the main office of the organisation he had several obligations, among others accounting, personal- and press department. As true Muslim people in Europe, who wanted to make all state organisations Islamic, the matter of the Islamic calender, who stands for the history, worship of Allah and daily matters, was brought up on the 7th Cemaziyel-Ahir 1404 (10.03.1984) in the Ulu Mosque in Cologne before an assembly. It was decided to prepare an Islamic calendar from this day on. For the preparation of such a calendar a commission of holy men was formed under M. Metin Müftüoglu. He visited all cities one by one in order to preach and hold speeches.

In different European cities he led the Friday prayers for their religious communities. Our Caliph was of course subject to repeated insults, due to his helping the cause of Islam. These efforts of the envious and traitorous to make the Caliph leave his path never were successful. He stayed strong and remained patient. He not only gave his life and fortune to the cause of Allah, but also sacrificed his whole family for this cause. Even his blessed mother, who had also visited the Islamic University, migrated in order to help the blessed Caliph with his work. She was also a great help during the maturing of our present Caliph. After tackling many difficulties in the strange land, she also died here, far away from home.

During the founding of the Islamic Union and Communities, as well as during the proclamation of the Islamic Federation and the Caliphate State he was able to closely watch the happenings. He also played a great role during all of these activities.

The following works were translated by him:

-The part "Secret Documents" of the book "The Idol" was translated by him and published as a book.

-The book "The Word" by Hafiz Ali Resad was translated from Arabic into Turkish by him.

-He simplified the work by M. Sabri Efendi titled "Piousness" from the Osmanic Language.

-He simplified the work by M. Sabri Efendi titled "The Hat Problem the Turkish Faced" from the Osmanic Language.

Among others he wrote for the magazine "Just Voice" in Turkey, and to those published in Germany titled "Hicret"="Emigration", "Avrupa’da Hicret"="Emigration in Europe" and "Ümmet-i Muhammed"="The Community of Muhammed" he contributed several articles and investigations.

His published works in the Turkish language:

-Our Fight With Regiments,

-True Muslim People, False Muslim People,

His works, which are being prepared:

-The Three Time Periods.

Just like our blessed Caliph he started his Commentary on the Koran in the Barbaros Mosque of Cologne, starting with the Sura Fatiha and by basing it on comments of the famous scholar Ibn-i Kesir and Kurtubi. This he continued in Solingen. He last came as far as the Sura Maide in Ulu Mosque in Cologne. Furthermore our Caliph masters the Persian, French, and Arabic languages. At present he is married and father of three children. Our master Metin has carried out his duties punctually and patiently until the passing away of our blessed Caliph on Monday, the 15th of May 1995 (15. Zilhice 1415) at 12.50 p.m. in his own arms.

Since the religious community may not even stay without a leader for only an hour Muhammad Metin Müftüoglu, upon the recommendation of our blessed Caliph, was named the new Caliph on Tuesday, 16th of May 1995 (16. Zilhice 1415) after the morning prayer. As he had commenced his studies at the hands of his father he was respected by all members of the assembly.

The members of the assembly proclaimed to the whole world that all Ceremonies, especially the funeral ceremony and the proclamation would be carried out under the leadership of the new chief of the Believers and Caliph of the Muslim People, Muhammad Metin Müftüoglu (Kaplan).

At present he carries out the office of the Caliph. We wish him health and a long life and beg Allah the omnipotent to enable him to carry out many more blessed offices.
