JazzakumAllah khayran for your advice. It seems to be a work of its own though, more like a second volume rather than a second edition. We are planning the release of the book for late next year if not the year after, so there is much time to see how things turn out and decide what is the best possible option by then insha'Allah. Further advice is greatly appreciated, barakAllah fikum.

* Al-Mawsu`at al-Yusfiyya Fi Bayan Adillat al-Sufiyya written by Shaykh Yusuf Khattar Muhammad hafizahullah.
* `Ulema al-Sufiyya Hum al-Salafiyya al-Haqiqiyun by Shaykh `Abd al-Hadi Muhammad al-Kharsa hafizahullah.

In the meantime, we have also engaged in projects not mentioned on the list. They are as follows:

Actually you already updated it a lot, as you removed the books from the upcoming list that have been published since I made that post in September 2008. A year has passed and so far 5 English and 5 Arabic books have been published wal-hamdulillah. Al-Salafiyya is the only one left from the original list and brochure, it hasn't been published nor is the translation finished and it is in fact currently put on hold for a number of reasons unfortunately. I have no idea when it will be out, it might not even be next year.

As for the books on the future list, unfortunately it hasn't been possible to publish any so far due to different reasons spanning over a year. Other than that, what can I say you gotta aim high to get anything done in the first place. There is as you know one new title from that list in the making, and it will have 2009 on it. There also have been some updates on the forthcoming section of the website [ http://www.sunnipubs...emid=39&lang=en ], but this was already a long time ago and more is to follow. As for the rest, this is the situation so far:

Those are 8 new titles which have been translated, and some of them will be on the new brochure for 2010 which we are making this time insha'Allah. How many and which those will be, will depend on a number of considerations to be made until then. There is no chance they will all be published in 2010, most likely the brochure will include a program for 2011 as well. However, one of them will not be on it at all as it is still planned for this year insha'Allah. Which one that is will be announced in due time. Then there are a number of works which are either still being translated or otherwise on hold.

Perhaps some might make it to the 2011 program, and some might not. Either way, 4 books a year is already aiming high - but insha'Allah we will never aim lower, but reach higher every time instead. This is as far as English is concerned, having published just as many [but significantly smaller] Arabic books so far this side-project with Shaykh Jalal al-Jihani has become a constant in our endeavours. The next Arabic book is currently being edited and is another one from Shaykh Muhammad al-Ta'wil and covers the numerous changes that have recently been made in Moroccan Law. The previous book, al-Wasiyyat al-Wajiba, already covered one of the major points. Other books will insha'Allah be more from Shaykh Sa`id Foudah, Shaykh Muhammad `Amrawi and rare classics of the sort published so far. I expect some 3 Arabic books to be published in 2010 insha'Allah.

Can I suggest Imam ibn Rajab's Lataif Al-Ma'arif for translation please.
