Assalamu alaikum,

Well, I just found out that this site is finally up and going again - so here I am...insha'allah, many more Sisters will follow. And yes, it would be nice to have a Sisters section!

How about if the sisters get 7 more sisters to post in this topic (11 in total), then we will make a section for sisters only insha'Allah. Sister danya can moderate it if she wants.

Good question.
But why was there a need for 7 more to post in this topic?
Just check and see how many sisters are already members in this forum? :unsure: I am certain it's past 11, especially if you count those who were already members from the previous (old forum).
I think though many of the sisters are presently more "readers" rather than "posters" but if you (moderators) open up a sisters section, they might feel more comfortable to post. Maybe? :)

The quote was just an estimate of how many sisters would be needed to have a properly functioning sister, and it hasn't been met yet as only six more sisters posted instead of seven. But since this thread is nearly as old as the forum, we can move on. There's some technical issues that need to be solved, but that should work out insha'Allah. In the meantime, the section would need a sister to take charge of it. It's quite a responsibility though and some minimal PM or email communication with myself will be required in order to keep the section completely safe and absolutely male free. U also have to know a little bit about forums, just enough to be able to get by and figure things out. It will have to be a sister who is an advanced member, and only sisters learner and kantz have posted twice in this thread - so which one will it be?
