Sheikh Abdullah al-Harari and the Ahbash

Salam Alaikum

Does anyone know much about Sheikh Abdullah al-Harari of Lebanon and his followers (called Ahbash).

They say they're Ashari aqida, Shafi in fiqh and Rifai in tariqa. However, a lot of Lebanese (non-Wahabis, who are also Ashari and Shafi and follow various salasil) consider them to be a seperate sect who neither follow the pure Ashari aqidah or the teachings of Imams Ash-Shafie and Ahmad Ar-Rifai rahimahumullah.

I've personally seen them in their passionate hatred of the Wahabis and the Wahabis would annihilate them if they had the chance. However, even regular Sunnis have issues with them (the Ahbash).

Can someone mention their deviations if they know of them?

Praises for the Naqshibandiyya Tariqah

as-Salamu 'alaykum,

I've read, that Molla 'Ali al-Qari says in his book "al-Hisn al-Hasin" and "Mishkat", that those who know the Ahadith and who know what to do and say, will recognize the Tariqah al-Naqshibandiyya as the same way, which the Prophet sallallahu 'alayhi wa salam choosed after his prophethood was gifted him, which he choosed for his umma also and which was choosen by the great Ashab too.

Could someone approve this pls?

Also I've read, that Schaykh Ibn Hajar al-Haythami says at the end of his Fatawa: "The only way, free from jahil sufis with poisoned thoughts is the Naqshibandi way."

Could someone approve this?

I searched the net and just found the saying of Ibn Hajar:
"الطريقة العلية السالمة من كدورات جهلة الصوفية هي الطريقة النقشبندية

Source: al-hadiqa al-nadiyya of imam muhammed b. salman al baghdadi, he says ibn hajar said it but not where he said it.

And who is Imam Muhammad b. Salman al-Baghdadi?

And could anyone also provide some other, perhaps authentic sayings about the Naqshibandi Tariqah? I need it for a refutation which im writing in german.
Course Summary
Surah Hujurat instructs the believers to "find their place" before God and His Messenger. Surah Hujurat is a moral code and has important instructions for our development as upright humans and believers: in a community of faith, each person deserves respect; quarrels are unseemly and should be composed; manners spring from morals and mutual respect and confidence are a duty and privilege in Islam. The Surah emphasizes that humanity is all brethren in the Adamic lineage and that true honor and status is found with God in piety.

This day-long course is designed to provide you with the "morals of a Muslim," as highlighted in this Surah. We will discuss our proper interaction with Allah (SWT), His Prophet (SAW) and each other, relying on classic Islamic works while keeping an eye on the modern world we find ourselves in today.

Topics discussed will include:

Finding your standing before God
Learning to have etiquette towards our faith
Binding ties between people
Building a family of faith
Walking gently before others
Maintaining a good opinion
Start moving from the "edge" to the "center"
At the Conclusion of this Course You will:

- Know the background and reasons for revelation of each Ayat of this Surah
- Become more familiar with Arabic by understanding the vocabulary, sentence structure and grammatical techniques employed in each verse
- Have a deep understanding of the overall moral framework that is highlighted in this Surah
- Understand the associated hadith and commentary on this Surah
- Gain perspective on how this Surah's interpretation has varied over time
- Learn from the wisdom of each other via interactive and informed questions and answers

This course will utilize classical writings and books of knowledge to shed light on this most important topic and writing materials and supplemental notes will be provided.
