Imām Abū Bakr Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn al-Ājūrī was a famous muḥaddith and jurist from the fourth century after Hegira. He was born and grew up in the western part of Baghdād named Darb al-'Ajūrr, hence the appellation.
